About Us

At Heartworks, we know a parent’s well-being shapes a child’s. When we’re depleted, they feel it, but when we’re grounded, they rise to meet us. We believe that creativity isn’t a luxury—it’s a powerful tool for healing. Art, movement, and music are gateways to resilience—ways to breathe, soften, and return to the parts of ourselves we’ve set aside.

Parents today are more overwhelmed than ever, so self-care has to evolve. It should be woven into the life you’re already living, hand-in-hand with the little humans who need you most. That’s why Heartworks delivers easy, art-based techniques rooted in neuroscience that fit into real family routines, helping caregivers and children co-regulate and grow together.

We’re so happy you’re here.

Welcome to a new generation of parenting...let’s play!

“When we make space to create and be fully ourselves, we give our children the courage to do the same.”

Hi! I’m Stephanie—founder of Heartworks, HeartMath® Certified Trainer, graphic designer + illustrator, and mom of three.

After seven years of parenting, I’d lost my spark—my joy, creativity, and sense of self. Like you, I was trying to “do everything right,” but giving without caring for myself left me exhausted, guilt-ridden, and short-tempered. And my kids mirrored it all.

So what did I do when there was no time for self-care? I found ways to weave it into everyday moments with my kids. That’s exactly what Heartworks is all about—simple, science-backed activities that help caregivers reconnect with themselves while positively impacting their children.

Wherever you are in your parenting journey, I can’t wait to help you reconnect with your joy, creativity, and sense of self.

Originally from Austin, Texas, I now live in Los Angeles with my husband and three “tiny gurus”—my children!
